£7 a pint in Brighton

I paid $19 for a pint at Phoenix Suns Basketball last week. It was $17 for a can. Burgers, chips and a pint was nearly $50
$17 for a beer at the SoFi Stadium (LA) when I was there recently. But they did sell cheesy tater tots so it wasn't all bad. We think we get charged a lot at stadiums in this country (and we do), but the prices in the US were on another level.

Is it the same at concerts?

Brighton revels in its nickname - London by the Sea . A louche resort - home of the Brighton Rock Graham Greene novel with 1930s razor gangs. Later on site of dirty weekends. £7 a pint - not surprised at all - 18 months ago £6 a pint was the norm for London. Best stick to Spoons there or carry out to London parks.
As someone living down south 6 pound is the least you are paying in London. Essentially for a two round pint you need the best part of 15 pound. I paid 13.80 for a pint of neck oil and peroni. That wasn't even zone 1 or two.

I was in Manor Park the other month and it was between £4 to £5 in regular pubs.

The gentrified pubs have gone foodie and charge more.

13 dollars for a pint of Coors at the basketball last week. Not bad as heard Lakers charge around 20
Disgusting.
Absolutely disgusting.
A fool and is money are easily parted.

Imagine going to watch basketball.

Fucking BASKETBALL

That's what my idiot cousin paid..told her she should of gone aldi for a few cans..

I understand your sentiments but at the end of the day its do you want pubs to exist? They gave costs from all sides and are not charities

Can well believe it. I had a mate from near there visit me in Galway over the summer, he'd been in Dublin for a stag do first and I asked him what he made of the prices in Dublin.....found it no different from Brighton
Just back from Dublin few weeks ago, almost €18 for Guinness and G&T in Madigans just off O'Connell Street. Just over €16 in Bad Bob's Temple Bar which had music on, so very similar to Brighton prices
