£7 a pint is about what you’d pay in Manchester for a nice IPA in a hipstery bar/pub.
I doubt that 'spoons charge that. You pay the same in Manchester City centre, it’s not unique to the South anymore.
:) I been there mate. And the two up the road with the same owners... King George was one?You want The Wheatsheaf in nearby Gwersyllt. Ask for Bootlegger.
Company credit card sweetiePosh ****.
Was on the company mate. No way I would have paid it myself.Scandalous, but people pay it to say they’ve paid it.
$17 for a beer at the SoFi Stadium (LA) when I was there recently. But they did sell cheesy tater tots so it wasn't all bad. We think we get charged a lot at stadiums in this country (and we do), but the prices in the US were on another level.I paid $19 for a pint at Phoenix Suns Basketball last week. It was $17 for a can. Burgers, chips and a pint was nearly $50

As someone living down south 6 pound is the least you are paying in London. Essentially for a two round pint you need the best part of 15 pound. I paid 13.80 for a pint of neck oil and peroni. That wasn't even zone 1 or two.Brighton revels in its nickname - London by the Sea . A louche resort - home of the Brighton Rock Graham Greene novel with 1930s razor gangs. Later on site of dirty weekends. £7 a pint - not surprised at all - 18 months ago £6 a pint was the norm for London. Best stick to Spoons there or carry out to London parks.
I have paid 99p a pint in the Sedge Lynn in Chorlton earlier this year for a nice cask ale. It was on a Managers Special offer.Anywhere in town still do pound a pint
I was in Manor Park the other month and it was between £4 to £5 in regular pubs.As someone living down south 6 pound is the least you are paying in London. Fucking BASKETBALL
Just back from Dublin few weeks ago, almost €18 for Guinness and G&T in Madigans just off O'Connell Street. Just over €16 in Bad Bob's Temple Bar which had music on, so very similar to Brighton pricesCan well believe it. I had a mate from near there visit me in Galway over the summer, he'd been in Dublin for a stag do first and I asked him what he made of the prices in Dublin.....found it no different from Brighton
