What happens then, we bring in Negrado he goes say 6 games without a goal doesn't look very good at all, may struggle with the pace of the PL, just a thought.

He comes in does an Aguero and gets a hat-trick on his debut, jobs a goodun.
As opposed to Torres who scored his first Prem goal of 2013 in the last game of the season.

Torres just has to be a no no. Apart from the fact that his wages must be huge, surely we will be looking for a striker who is improving or at least sustaining their form than one who is very much on the slide. I know he is still a half decent player but can anyone really say that he isn't way past his best.

But he is Prem proven Paul!?
Agreed, no point in fanny about with these untried players like Messi, Cavani and Iniesta, we need Prem proven players like Torres, Heskey and Benayoun

Torres would be a huge gamble. Was when Chelsea bought him and it hasn't really been a success. Not an option for City I don't think and its a crying shame but hey ho

Could I suggest you stop thinking, makes you look a little stupid

I believe that piece is rubbish like all media outlets are

The whole purpose of the Tevez exit was financial, huge wages. So why would we go out and replace him with Torres who is probably earning even more.
With Dzeko, and Guidetti (if he is not to be loaned out) we have 2 stikers who not the most mobile. Negredo at least offers a bit more graft up front. He`s also left footed, so would be ideal in a front 3.
Guidetti going the opposite way on loan could be an option, but I`d love for him to stay and make the break through.
Negredo.........I`m in.

And Thiago will remain at Barca now that his brother has opted to stay in Catalonia.
