The way I look at it is that Athletico Madrid were very keen to sign him and they always seem to pick up top Strikers.Happy if he signs will give us balance up top with him being left footed.
 
If he would of signed for West Ham earlier in the summer how many of you would of been saying WOW how on earth did West Ham manage to bag him?

If the rags sold Rooney and replaced him with Negredo this forum would go into a meltdown of laughter.

Didn't they all say isco to city was a done deal, before the under 21 tournament?
