“City in crisis”

Depends how bad that form is, we have that already.. (but i do like him, would make sense)
He makes more sense than most. He knows how we play and he’d be a cheap option with the option to buy should it go well.

Probably a bit too obvious though. Pep has probably already earmarked a Montenegrin right winger as our solution at number 6.

Teams are catching us on the break too easily IMHO, we need defenders who are rapid to counteract that, we seem to be in more danger after a corner or a dead ball that inevitably turns to shit.

An unpopular opinion on here would be that instead of having Eddy in net we could try to get one that might have at least a 50% success rate when a shot is fired at him.
You may be right but I still think our problem begins with the lunacy of a cross to nowhere to win a corner with no threat. If we were scoring goals we could afford to concede a few.

I'm just pontificating here mate, but if we had 2 absolutely rapid defenders or one rapid sweeper we wouldn't be caught out anywhere near as much as we do.

We seem to be in crisis most seasons round about this time of the season, wait till liverpool beat us at anfield there will be some bed wetters then.

I don't see it. You have the best team and the best coach - you got beaten 4-1 by a team that should have been 4-0 down to you after 30 minutes.

It'll pass. I'll wager now you won't finish below Liverpool this season.

We need you on the match day thread to dampen down the diazepam crowd.

One factor which I think has had a real effect is the absence through injury of a significant number of our "captains", of that group of players who organise and lead the team on the pitch and prevent errors creeping on. Kyle, Dias, Rodri, KdB just to name a quick four.

Hopefully there’s some truth to the players and coaching staff arguing at the full time whistle.
Last time we were in ‘crisis’ Fernandinho got all the players together for clear the air talks.
We kicked on after that moment.

Everton A in Pep’s first season. Utterly dominated the first half, missed a bag full of chances, shipped four goals, assisted by no hands Bravo, and it was a disaster. Things turned out ok, and they will this time. It’s a difficult patch, no more and no less, crisis my arse.
