Don't you get the feeling that the ratio of goals to shots is very high with us though? Just because he saves some doesn't mean that he's an exceptional keeper.

When he's exposed I always feel that we're conceding.

In the grand scheme of Pep's era there are worrying signs. But a youthful side went up against a very good Spurs side and gave them a game. A depleted side went to Bournemouth and were battered but still a whisker away from equalizing at the end. And then another depleted side went and battered Sporting before being picked apart in the second half.

The last time we lost three was twice against the dippers in the CL knockouts and at home to the Rags. That was really fucking disappointing but not seen as a crisis at all.

We are 2pts off top, out of a competition we didn't need to be in and still have the ability to make the knockouts of the CL so there's no real damage done just yet.

If we were miles off top 4 and CL qualification I would suggest we had bigger issues. With the injuries we have and the wider squad issues we are having to adapt and that's going to be a challenge. Nothing more than that.

We have been conceding these goal in every season under Pep, the difference is we normally come out in the second half and bang in 4.

our lack of goals from midfield is our biggest weakness, conceding never was an issue as we could always recover.

My worry re Lewis - he always looks hurried - that's not a sign of genuinely very good player. He shows great attitude commitment etc, just the guile part, spacial awareness is lacking to me..and that comes a little with experience but realistically a lot of that is down to natural ability, inner confidence etc...great squad player though

If there is going to be an inquest into the defence leaking goals, I think Pannick should conduct the inquest/review and stop pissing about with court cases. 10k an hour should do it.
