“City in crisis”

I still fancy us for the title, went to see the odds but 15/4 for a club in crisis. My missus says you forget all about the pain of labour after the birth & I think it’s the same with title wins.

Fortunately we have the man who doesn’t panic, knows we are off the boil.

Looking at the Dipper stats & they are similar to ours. Everyone says our midfield was over run & yet we had 23 shots so wtf happened to Spurs midfield.

I’ll say it again I’m not worried about points but as long as we hit form before Xmas which I’m confident about catching them. There are still 78 points to play for & when we hit form last year we got 57 out of last 63. That tells us we got 34 from the first 51 available.

Been banging this drum for weeks. Absolute zero contribution from every forward player except for Haaland.

If he doesn’t score it’s game over for us.

This is what happens when you sell Mahrez, Alvarez and Palmer and prime Gundo over 2 years ( and lose all those goals ) and replace them with players that didn’t score at their previous clubs and can’t score for City. Nobody should be surprised.

Chronic mis-management of the squad turnover by Txiki.

Loving the head in the sand comments on here looking at it only being a couple of games blimp. Look at the games we have played without Rodri over 2 seasons and the it’s fairly obvious this is more than a blip that has no obvious solution.

Since his injury this season we average 1.2 goals a game and 1.4 points in the league - with an easy run of fixtures. Far more pain due in December starting next week.

That average continuing will see us mid table in May.

And don’t be thinking any new arrivals will sort out the problem - Txiki hasn’t got a midfield signing right for years with multiple failures - so don’t be thinking he will get I right in Jan.
doom doom doom.

Fuck it why bother posting anymore?

It’s over time we all packed up and fucked off now it’s become difficult -:)

All the pretend city fans can now go back to supporting their crappy teams.

The levels we have been playing how can we still stay to that year after years. Our spine of the team is cracked. We are missing our real leaders in Rodri and Diaz and even KDB and Walker while they were out. A somewhat aging team in key areas it looks now. The players can't do 2 games a week never mind 3 games a week. This is when the new leaders will show what they are made of. I expect a reaction in the midweek game. A win the weekend Liverpool is it there giving up chances as much as we are if we are in a title race we need to win that game even a draw wouldn't be enough for us. If we loose the game start the rebuild straight away. Is what I am feeling.

I fear for the sanity of a number on here whether we win or not.

Stay away from the matchday thread especially is a good thing to bear in mind.
I pop in there sometimes and as soon as I read something like ‘he’s fucking shit’ I leave. 100% that gets hoards of rags commenting.
