“City in crisis”

Jack played a big role in 3 titles and one CL, he was cheap at the price

Phillips was one of our worst ever signings, if he'd only cost £5m he'd still be one of the worst

With our glasses half full i think we can say the jury's still out on Nunes, he's underperformed but we see glimpses of the player he could be if it clicks
Jack wasn't cheap. He was great in the Treble winning team. However, that's exactly what you'd expect for what he coat. I like the fella but alongside Foden, Bernie and Gundogan he needs to up his game.

He was very effective in all 3 seasons. He cost the market rate for a top class forward player and that's exactly what he's been.

The list of forward players, even at £100m, who've come into a team and contributed significantly to 3 titles and 1 CL is a very short list. Even if you were to trawl back through the decades and adjust prices for inflation it would be a very short list.

He's been a brilliant signing.

We does someone always have to get blamed?

Txiki?
Pep?

Both men together brought the golden age to city.

The Players needs replaced because that’s how football works.

These two are beyond reproach. Mistakes have happened and we have been slow in the market but ffs, what they have done for us is unbelievable.

Huge squad shake up needed. This is not a let’s blame the players either but they are the ones on the pitch fucking about. They received untold praise when doing well.

Footballers decline, get comfortable, couldn’t be arsed.

Most clubs sack managers at this point we sign our up for 2 more seasons.

Could you imagine an inferior manager coming in now? Look no further that the last 10 seasons of the rags. Give the dips a bit of praise they have handled their transition pretty well. Klopp left behind a pretty good squad.

Pep cares so much and we are so lucky he does.

I think you're deluded to say the least.

Brilliant signing?

Exactly. There's a reason why no-one had ever done four in a row until we turned up, and that's because to go through four seasons maintaining motivation, refreshing the squad, not letting injuries derail your season, and keeping the tactics fresh so that teams don't figure you out, is ridiculously difficult.

Let's be honest, we're owed a shit season. And that's before we even consider the fact that we're still second in the league, and because of the way the new CL format works, we could be shit for the whole first half of the season, and still win the competition by getting through a two-legged knockout.

Don't get me wrong, the performances on the pitch seem a bit more terminal than a rough patch, but you never know what can happen with this group of players.

Yep, by his own admission, his first season wasn't great. The next season, he was admittedly fantastic, and he's done a decent job for us throughout. But only one season that genuinely justified the money.

I agree , i still think he thought thats it i have won the treble i can coast next season , he didnt have the mind set of the others that you dont stop you go for four times , he didnt appear up for last season or this one so far . Dont want him in the trenches at the moment

The list of forward players that have failed to score for their club in the entirety of 2024 is also a very short list.
