“City in crisis”

Im actually not that arsed.

Peps made all our dreams come true.

Treble.
Domestic quad.
100 points.
100 goals.
Won everything multiple times.

Absolutely lamped all our rivals at some point home and away:
Rags 6-3 & 0-3
Liverpool 5-0 & 1-4
Arsenal 5-0 & 1-4
Chelsea 6-0 & 1-3

Even the biggest in Europe we’ve smashed.
Real Madrid 4-0
Barcelona 3-1
Bayern 3-0

Last minute winners.
Signing Haaland.
Created a Ballon D’or winner.
Pissing off every other fanbase.

We need some bad times to touch base i think.
I’m a man of a certain age where I’ve seen us at our lowest. We’ve had so many highs I don’t get anywhere near excited now as I once did. Spoilt, maybe?
So a little re-set won’t do any City fan any harm. Take some beatings.
Remember it’s not easy to stay at the top and we have no devine right to win all the time.

We’ll rebuild and get back to where we were. Suppose what I’m saying is embrace the shitness for a bit. Feel it as Pep would say… It’s all part of the never ending journey.
This sums it up for me. Pep is still an absolute god in my eyes regardless of what happens this season. We could finish 15th, it wouldn't matter one jot.

Obviously the past month or so hasnt been pleasant, and i'm not sure things will improve drastically any time soon, but it is what it is. We've had an incredible amount of success to enjoy, and experiences fans of other clubs could only dream of.

This team has given absolutely everything for the past 8 seasons, just have to accept that its probably coming to the end of its cycle.

I sort of wish that Pep hadn't renewed his contract now. Watching his presser from the other night, he looks absolutely done in by these recent results, it's really taking its toll on him and nobody deserves to feel like that. I honestly think he'd walk away tomorrow if he could but his personality means he can't.

Whenever players and managers say they love the club I don't truly believe them but I think Pep actually does. It seems like he was ready to leave but he had to renew purely because the club would of been left in the lurch. I think we were probably in for Amorim however when Ten Haag got the sack and he went there that was us screwed.

The club really needs to back Pep now and give him everything he needs to finish as strongly as possible this year followed by one last hurrah next year. We can't carry on with this situation where everything is constantly unknown and so they're putting very little investment into the squad.

The same applies to preparing for when Kev, Walker and others decide to finish because it's coming. Txiki's replacement is going to be bloody busy next summer.
