He needs to go back to basics and get the team defending properly. Stop playing a suicidal high line, put bodies on the line to keep a clean sheet and start from there to grind out a result. Yes Pep may have to compromise in other areas but we cannot carry on with this suicidal defending as it’s killing us.

Everybody waffles about how good our squad is, now clearly it isn’t, we have a great first team and that’s it. Pep’s first season showed that without the right players then his tactics/system don’t work so we obviously have the same problem now, we’ve had no left back about 5 or 6 years and now most of the games this season we’ve had no right back either, take Rodri out and the midfield is puff pastry at best. Perhaps having 3 or 4 extra players in the squad to start with may help.
Without arguing clearly some of the players are not good enough, and playing players out of position isn’t working, I’m dreading Sunday, I’ve already avoided all media for the last 4 weeks, so another won’t harm I suppose.
