“City in crisis”

It’s a blip, a particularly bad one but still just a blip due mainly to tiredness and injuries I feel. The lads deserve to be cut a bit of slack after what they’ve done the last four years!

We’ll still be fighting for trophies come the end of the season! Keep the faith!
Exactly this.

Yes to the injuries and fatigue, yes to the slack, but this is more than a blip. This is a team in decline due to aging players and poor signings.

Hope City+ release the content regardless of what happens at the end of the season!

I overreacted last night for the first time this season because you don't throw away a 3.0 lead with 15 minutes to go

All the hard work of the past 5 games was cleansed and put to bed in the 75 minutes of the game job done. But Pep did something that I don't understand, taking the holding midfield player Gundogan off, also Foden and Ake and bringing on 2 kids and KDB that is not even 25% match fit.

After the bad run off 5 losses, you make the result safe and bring off Haaland Grealish and bring on Walker and Dias and shut up shop, But to open the game up and let them back in the game is criminal

Look we have been given the best 9 years of this football club's history and who am I to point fingers and call out Pep and the club, It sort of does give the club and Pep and the players a free pass this season, But do we deserve them to coast and take the foot off the pedal and look beaten.

It's not a major crisis and when you see how fast things can turn then it can also turn back into good.
A top 4 place in the minimum and maybe win the FA cup, Forget The Champions League it's way out of our depth this season and the sooner we go out the better.

Our last crisis was truly more than 18 trophies ago.

However, that’s an age thing and no different to my dad consoling my tears with tales of George Poyser’s incompetence when City were 3-0 down at the Baseball Ground after 30 minutes in 1971.

Something isn’t quite right and there’s a few strange things happening behind the scenes.

Two summers ago, we highlighted the need for a speedy left back but balked at paying over-the-odds for Cucurella. No issue from me, but don’t we still need a speedy left back?

Bobb was already out when we sold Alvarez. Did we seriously try and make any big signings in the summer, and if so, why did players turn us down?

Doku was seemingly rushed back too soon, but over 3 months ago we were told that Bobb’s recovery would take 3-4 months.

Why are we suddenly experiencing so many injuries that are taking longer than expected

It can’t just be bad luck

The ageing squad is a bit of myth and media crap, The Real problem is the squad is too small for a major injury crisis like we have had this season, It has always been Pep's way of having 17 or 18 players to work with, But there is a major problem when you lose 7 or 8 key players.

Also, the squad is top-heavy with central defenders and lacks firepower upfront and midfield-holding players
I don't think we have had a pair of fullbacks and cover. forget Mendy he never played enough.

The first thing we need is a balanced squad and then bring the squad up to 20 to 25 players
