“City Matters” fan committee

Feels like city matters is a box ticking exercise to make the club look like they care about the fans. I’ve said this before, but we as fans don’t really have anyone who stands up for us/ represents us
The Official Supporters Club doesn’t and City Matters doesn’t, and we have no other fan groups.

Most other clubs have multiple fan groups who are considered or even important to their boardroom’s decision making.

Everything about our club seems scared of Liverpool. This from our board, accepting £1m so their hacking was brushed under the carpet, every fucking pathetic performance we put in at their shithole…

We need to grow a pair of bollocks and tell that fucking disgusting club to fuck right off!
Couldn’t agree more mate.

Would be good if Kevin Parker as chair of the supporters clubs could come out and say what we have all been saying about the meeting and subsequent email but I'm sure he will be keeping his head down.

If he had any honour he’d resign (or fuck off) from his position with immediate effect. I am sure I remember Dave Wallace saying when he was the token fan on the board he was asked to leave the room whenever anything important was being discussed, but for this chairman to do it to his colleagues on the committee is a disgrace
Have you had your blood pressure checked recently? Seems like it might be a bit high to me.

He was very naive in my view. It was a bad error of judgement. They had a reps meeting last night and I'd love to have been a fly on the wall. I think he's learned a painful lesson and I hope he'll be less trusting of the club in future.

Kevin is not the chairman of the supporters club, he is the General secretary, Alan Galley is the chairman

It comes to something when the Chair of City Matters should be less trusting of the club in the future.(as you say) What credibility the club has, including the City Matters group, after this and the Liverpool surrender email, is damaged once again. How many more times? On both counts it's yet another PR cluster-fuck by the club.

That aside, why are the club and the directors pulling secretive stunts like this? Is there anything they can't do in public and honestly? Or is the whole setup at City based on secrecy, misinformation, lies, and a big continual f*ck off towards the fans?

Separate them both. I'm grateful for the success on the pitch. But the way the club is run, especially towards the fans, is nothing short of a f*cking shambles, has been for years, with little or no honesty and improvement insight. Isn't that right, Khaldoon and Soriano?

I’m not sure naïve is the correct word but definitely bad error of judgement.

Will we get minutes of the meeting last night then? If I was a gambler I’d be betting against us getting them that’s for sure.

Mind you tonight might have been a better time for the meeting, after the ‘infamous’ email. :-)
