I hope you’re not suggest we should have fewer season tickets?The problem is that we put tickets on sale at the start of the season but games get moved. So Cardiff on a Saturday is going to be more popular than the rearranged midweek game yet we’re tied into a price. Plus our pricing simply doesn’t reflect the level of demand compared to the rags or dippers. The latter only have 26k season tickets compared to our 42k. So they make more money because they’re selling up to 25k seats at match day prices rather than our 8k.
I’m not sure about putting them on sale at the start of the season as I’m not having to do that, but if i was I’d buy United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs right at the start and leave the rest. Perhaps also buy the last match of the season just in case.
