“White men should have black slaves” - Tory councillor

We're about to enter some scary times in the next 10 years, on Tiktok people showcase the power of AI making music, films, pictures, it will only get better, not sure how it is countered tbh.
Why, someone might even simulate a presidential candidate boasting about grabbing women by the pussy, or as president suggesting injecting bleach.

Mind you, nobody would believe that.

Wait until cloning takes off.

It wasn't me...

People are getting far too worked up about this, all the lad did was say the quiet part out loud.

Just look into the last 40 years alone. The Tories have always been racist bastards. I’m surprised the **** wasn’t promoted.

@Rascal, I always enjoy your contributions in the political threads, for a few reasons.
1. You are consistent.
2. You are genuine in your beliefs for a better society.
3. You are also informative, whether I necessarily agree with your leanings or not.

I tend to agree with your hopes and aspirations from time to time, even if I don’t connect your choices of actions, to how to achieve them. At least not instinctively, for me.

The highlighted passage from your contribution is a good example. Consistent, genuine and informative but I know from your past contributions that you favoured Brexit for your own idealistic aspirations.
However I look at the description of Marxism and although I would never try to equate the likes of the EU with what Marx had in mind, however, I do see an opening up of borders and boundaries and a globalisation of worker’s rights and standards and regulation of market practices as far more in keeping with a fair future world, than a retreating into your own shell behind your borders.

This is not a pop at you Rascal. As I said, I genuinely enjoy your contributions for the reasons I have given.

At the risk of derailing this thread. Just wondering what your take is on how this is panning out.
If you know my history of contributions in here you will know where my particular interests lie.
A simple answer would be I want International Socialism rather than International Capitalism.

Lenin envisaged a world wide "comiterm" that would establish International Communism that would establish workers rights as the central force behind the dismantling of the capitalist (bourgeiose) class. In theory that would mean open borders and enforcement of workers rights over the capitalist class, which in theory would leave to a classless society where according to Marx, society would become each to his ability, each according to his needs. That is often interpreted in the west as meaning everyone earns the same and lives in the same sort of house which is of course capitalist bollox aimed at scaring people into believing that aspiration is an inherently bad thing. Note how much capitalists use aspiration as a tool, its a tool they use to further enrich the capitalist class at the expense of the working class. In simple terms that means imagine a world where there are no super rich, but there is also not a really poor underclass used as "slaves" to enrich their capitalist masters.

Love it, but I find that forever idealistic and not in keeping with any mechanisms of power once power is achieved.
Human nature.
We are selfish bastards.

This would be the dream.
