0-0 Isn't the end of the world

Mancini, who last witnessed a home goal nearly five hours ago, admitted: ‘If Carlos Tevez doesn’t score, nobody does.

'It has been our problem all season.’

Wasn't it Mancini that said that fans just expected the solution to be throwing more strikers at it? Pot kettle black. What about getting them playing in a way that allows more goals to be scored from midfield! Then we wouldn't be so reliant on him ffs.

A little stat, when Mourinho won his first Premier League title with Chelsea in 2005 they drew 5 home games, 3 of them finishing 0-0, against Arsenal who finished 2nd to them that season (a bit like our draw at home to the rags eh) with the against our fine selves and Tottenham.

That maybe so ....

very few teams , if any , will win the title without dropping some points in little 'setbacks' here and there .....

but it's all about how you respond to dropping points , and how many games you actually win that counts in the end ........ and you can bet your life that Chelsea won quite a few that season!

You can bet your life we will win our fair share this season as well mate.

The lad sat next to me at the match booed like fuck at the substitution and at the end. He said to me, "we should get Hughes back, we'd have fucking ripped these apart." Presumably I imagined the home draws against worse teams last season under Hughes. The over reaction to failing to break down a team who virtually never had less than 9 players in their own half is ridiculous imo. Obviously there are things that Mancini needs to improve but that result is certainly not the end of the world. The lack of patience at the moment is frightening and if Mancini is forced out it will be deep shit because there isn't anyone available worth thinking about. People need to be careful what they wish for.

Patience is a virtrue, if you haven't yet developed it, you probably should be a Rag. Support, as the name suggests, means you should get behind your team- fair weather or foul. When we got panned in Poznan, we still sang to our team as their fans do. Some sections of crowd need to stop being so... err American about their sporting expectations, after all it's not basketball.
