happy with the result but not with the fact that we could have had more if we had been more positive from the start and at he end....
Im worried about mancinis tactics....while excepting he is obviously a good tactician over all, i dont think he is getting the best out of the team and playing to its strengths....
He has obviously improved the defence but our attackiing prowess has definately dropped to a lot lower level in recent weeks......(of course it will be interesting to see what he does and how he plays once he has ade and ireland back and swo definately improved us last night)
but his changes towards the end of the game had me worried....it was very nearly a huge mistake deciding to try and hold onto the 2-1 and most managers surely know of utds ability to snatch a last minute goal....so sitting back when we were on top after the second goal was a mistake in my eyes... ...
if we got to OT and play like that we will get beat.....we wont be able to hold a 2-1 for the full 97 mins at OT......id for starts replace zabba in midfield with SI.......unfortunately he wasnt fit last might but withte way the midfield was last night he would have dominated that game last night....tbere was so much room and with SI passing and movement he would have had a field day

modgeblue said:yes any lead is good, but they were there for the taking after the second goal, i dont understand taking carlos off he was running riot also bringing sylvinho on both subs put us under pressure. but we beat the rag bastards just hope we dont go to the samp and sit back cos that would be a big mistake

If we play like we did in those periods we will get stuffed, BUT if we play like we did best part of the second half, i am quietly confident
