Do you think Newcastle would still want him I’d have my doubtsMaybe try and use him as a bargaining chip to get Livramemto?

Yeah he was probably happy to compete with Eddie for a year but Donna will be here for years to come. Can't blame the lad for wanting out if he was led to believe he was coming in to be number 1
On the other hand city going for donnaruna when he became available and willing to come was a no brainer.
It's kind of mad that Ortega is now 4th choice when IMO he's our second best keeper and comfortably better than Trafford right now.Keep Ortega imo.
Use Trafford to get someone we want.
You only need to watch both for 5 minutes to see Trafford is vastly superior to Donnarumma with his feet and distribution. The difference is night and day.Nothing I've seen from Trafford in a City shirt suggests he's any better than Donnarumma with his feet and distribution. Granted, the sample size is small for Trafford, but he's becoming the new Oscar Bobb in terms of becoming a better player the more he doesn't play.
I think it’s about appearances, I may be wrong. But he’s only played for City ‘this season’ so will be fine to go to another teamCan he play for another club this season? Did the transfer go through before this season began.

We're going to have to sign a new keeper in January at this rate
Well he wasn’t that good with his feet that first season at Burnley as I recall.Still think Trafford is better than Donnarumma and would allow us to play through presses with his feet and distribution much better.
We're struggling with it at times.
I think they’re very similar keepers in terms of skillset.Well he wasn’t that good with his feet that first season at Burnley as I recall.
Not sure where all this talk of brilliant distribution has come from.
From what I can see Donnarumma is perfectly adequate in that department.
Very true, when we want him back in 2033.Hate how this all panned out for Trafford, he didn't deserve what happened, but it's football; things happen, and hope he doesnt take it personally

Check the date! ;-)If we're gonna let him go.. he's gone and should be gone.
No more bring them back because feelings (Ilkay again)
I hope that this is not true, both in terms of him wanting out and in the sense of us not behaving honourably. Personally, I would prefer us to act with honour and play James Trafford as the number one than sign a great goalkeeper like Donnarumma. If we did what is being suggested, then good luck James Trafford in whatever you decide.
