Some of your posts always amuse me(seriously, they do). You're like one of those awkward people in life who disagree with whatever everyone else is saying. If everyone came on here tonight and said today was a great game, you'd say it was shite.

Just giving my opinion. If I didn't enjoy the match (as I didn't enjoy Bolton or Portsmouth) I would have said so.

But nice that you're amused.
Funny that,you not enjoying 2 victorys ;-)

I enjoyed myself today, decent game to watch.

One thing, when did the number of shots on target define whether a game was interesting or not. For me Babels missed header was more dramatic than Gerrards shit straight at Given, and there were a number of things at the game infinitely more interesting than any shot on goal.

Maybe it's just me.

I agree with you, but it seems most people on here disagree. I thought we cancelled each other out, both defenses played well. Most goals come from defensive errors but today both defenses were excellent. Skirtel seems to save his best for us and with Lescott and Kompany together we looked more solid. I

I was pleased with the results but didn't enjoy the matches.

As I said at the time.

to go with the one at stoke.

what a bore.
Was always going to be a cagey game. Liverpool came and parked the bus. Do you think Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal would have done very much better? i don't think so.

I was disappointed with the result, but pleased with the quality of the performance. I wasn't sure we could really compete at this level, but today proved that we are as good as Liverpool. I know we've beaten Chelsea and Arsenal at home this season, but this was a game of really high importance

You don't seem to appreciate that a game is 11 v 11. I've seen top quality games at International and in Europeanclub football which have been goalless but really intense high quality games. This was one such game. I wish you were proud that your club, MCFC is now part of that

I wish I could share your sentiments Marv but todays game was a shocking advert for Premiership football.

I didnt mind a turgid performance and a 0-0 draw against Liverpool, defence looked solid which is a positive, its when we play Hull, Stoke, Burnley Bolton Portsmouth that crap performances are not really acceptable and its these games that get you up into the top four. If defence can play the same at Chelski we might gain at least a point remembering Chelski are playing in Milan this week. Also we have been playing crap and still have been gaining points. Im certain we are due to go on a run where we play some of our opponents of the park and we surely cant play like we have been till the end of the season. So all in all hope this run of crap games is coming to an end and am optimistic for the rest of the season.
It has been a poor standard all round in the premiership this season when Bobby Zamora can score 15 goals and be touted as an English player and Louis Saha also manages to score 13 goals

today i think the team found they can play as a unit esp at the back, not much in the way of goalmouth action but it was allways going to be one of those today, liverpool are no mugs and came for a 1-0 win if not that then the draw,we are in the big boys club, today proved that

I was thinking we've got to beat these today as we've got Chelsea next week. But Chelsea will have to play very well if we can reproduce that performance. As you say, we play them at the perfect time.
