I'm going to get my face painted like a tiger, no, no A LION. I wish all games could be like a Carling Cup Quarter Final! I think i will go fancy dress to the semi's and as a clown to the final.

The wonderful rags wouldn't do this would they IP?

I'm just glad I'm sat on the front row of the third tier so I won't have some twat waving his flag and blocking my view through the game!

FFS man, will somebody think of the children, it's all for them!

Do you make immaculate pasta, is that where it comes from?

I have OCD, it's not my fault.

Right, I see. Why not have a bit of that obssessiveness put towards appreciating that kids are the next generation of blue, and need encouraging that it isn't just about sitting there bored out of their young little skulls for 2 hours? It's only one game, one solitary game where the kids get a chance to witness what it can be all about for them. And if you think it'll be just like an U21 game, you're mistaken as the kids will be obviosuly outnumbered by the adults many, many fold. Have you not stopped to think thats why the flags will be given out? The kids voices will be drowned out by the adults ranting and raving, therefore instead of them just sitting there feeling left out, they get to cheer on the team with their flags. It really isn't that hard of a concept to understand.

If they need a flag rather than watching Robinho, Ireland, SWP and some fancy Arsenal youngsters to keep them entertained then...........................

Chill out a bit eh.

There's no problem, i'm going off for a shower, i'll be singing "SHE FELL OVER, SHE FELL OVER" and "WHO ARE YA, WHO ARE YA, WHO ARE YA" in anticipation for tonight rather than my usual daily Take That numbers.

Well done for conveniently dodging the part about why the kids are given the flags.

I hope the fans keep them and bring them back for the following home games.

its gonna look ace tonight in front of the sky cameras

I really hope that City lose aswel so we can please the mighty SKY with as many "top4" teams as possible in the semifinals... We wont get anymore fans with flag waving...Cuz it look plastic!! Give the kids candy, shirts or fcuking beachballs, but please please no flags! It just make me think of champions league groupstage games @ stamford bridge..

The kids are being given flags to keep them from sitting there bored out of their little skulls for 2 hours.

I'm taking my 11 year old cousin tonight, maybe i should tell him to bring along his nintendo DS just incase we take an early lead and we decide to sit on it for the whole match, it's alot more entertaining than a flag.
