It's ok spending loads of money.
But no point if the players aren't either good enough.
Or don't suit the team.
We signed the best striker in world football a couple of years ago.
The one player since that window when we signed el mago and Yaya who made you think here we go.
This is a proper statement.
And although he's been amazing.
Absolutely unbelievable as a goal machine.
I wouldn't swap him for any player in the world.
But we don't use him properly.
We don't play to his strengths.
And since him most signings.
Most.....
Have been a bit wishy washy..just because a players expensive it doesn't mean he's brilliant.
Big summer coming up.
Were 4 or 5 good top quality players away from dominating again.
But also get those 4 or 5 wrong and we hover in the top 6 for the next 2 years
I for one am totally grateful for what we have seen.
And completely trust pep to put it right.
Let's beat these made up cartel protecting charges and go again.

Lads who played for the other team even now say it was the best goal they have ever seen.
I even said to my mate just behind the centre circle .
Watch this.
I bet you couldn't do this.
But they also said it was the funniest most insane thing they have seen on a football pitch when I pulled my shirt over the refs shoulders.
And kept calling him a darlick.
Looking back when I got offered a trail at Derby I can see why the pe teacher said I wasn't allowed to go

I think we were sitting in the south stand behind the goals, Paulo was just taking goal kicks down on his chest,,down to his feet ...and then running at the Leeds defence with his mazy ,crazy,dribbling style,......All Night.

Nobody could touch him ,he was supreme, dynamite,attacking Leeds ,on his own ,running at them from every angle, it was one of the best centre forward performances I've ever seen.
I've never really liked Leeds,and after my first rather naive visit to Elland rd in 87/88.....I made sure I went back there every season we played them,drunk all around the town ,and on this particular night ,Kevin Keegan s City got me buzzing,...1 nil at Elland Road. Take a bow Paulo Wanchope.
