My main feeling is that he is doing alright, no better or no worse, which is basically asking a bunch of football fans whether the £100m glass is half full or half empty which is causing all the debates in here.

I don't think he has been in the top three players on the pitch yet, but don't think he has been in the bottom three either.

My overriding feeling is he'll come good, he's not been nearly as bad as some on here are making him out to be, but he hasn't got close to earning his transfer fee yet (which you can't really do in December regardless).

Couldn't give a shit about his individual fee. He's been bang average. A player that gets fouled a lot joins a team that gets fuck all off the referees and he goes from the most fouled player to not showing in the top 5. Voted no to him and Kane in the summer and stand by my vote.

Pretty much every season we've spunked money signing someone for the sake of it. Didn't need Grealish, didn't need Mahrez and didn't need Ake. 200 million on those three. Madness.

He's only been here 4 months is the cry from some people. If that's the case whats the time period for saying he's officially under performed.

Pep, who has forgotten more about football than the combined knowledge of everyone on here, has consistently said he thinks Grealish is amazing.

That same Pep keeps saying he believes Grealish has done better than even he expected these few months.

But yeah, the Bluemoon geniuses have figured Grealish out and know more than Pep. I feel so sorry for all those geniuses, particularly given you each spent your own life savings to fund the transfer.

nearly broke my TV at that. a player that refuses to use his left foot shouldn't play on the left wing.
We're winning against 10 men he doesn't need his left foot he needs to keep the ball!

He's going to bury a couple and his confidence will take off. He's prime pep first season winger amazing people can't see it!

This is what stands out for me

“I’ve found it a lot more difficult than I thought I would, adapting to a different manager and teammates. At first I thought I’d have more of the ball, get more assists and goals but it doesn’t work like that at all. I’ve had nowhere near as much of the ball as I used to get at Villa.”

This was always going to happen. Like Mahrez, I don't believe he'll quite ever be able to adjust from being the big fish in a small pond, to being a small fish in a big one. As a I result, I don't think we'll ever see him play the way he did for Villa here, unfortunately.

It's a bit like goalkeeping; the very top ones playing in top sides who dominate the ball don't show their quality by making a million saves, despite goalkeeping fundamentally being about keeping the ball out of the net. They don't get the chance. In the limited chances they do though, that's where they have to show it off and bring their quality to the fore. Grealish just isn't doing that in my eyes.

You're not going to get a million touches a game here son. That's the real test of a player.

I am not judging him on his time with us, we have seen far better and more talented players take time to adjust to this team.

I am judging him at Villa, a team built around him, he was the man but to me haplessly overrated. A show pony, fancy flicks, step overs and occasional great moment, but lot's of time ineffective, selfish and a player who thought he was far better than he was. His goal threat was almost non existent and for a player who spends all his time in the opposition half is that acceptable?

We have also seen off the field issues since his time with us and at Villa, for a top player is that any longer acceptable? The top players have 100% dedication on and off the pitch.

Pep's and Tixki's judgment on players has been very good and I hope it's excellent on Grealish but for me 100m on this player is madness.

IMO.
We have the problem that all our wide men want to receive the ball to feet while stood statue still. I on the other hand would like them to be in a position to run onto a ball played between and behind the fb and cb. Something they don`t often do during a game.
