he was driving at them with a bit of momentum due Real defending changed, they were 1 behind, they no more put as many effort into defending. Kroos, Casemiro were sitting deep all game, even Modric, but not after Mahrez scored, this gave so much more space for us to attack and even Gundo to pick up the ball in huge empty spaces in the middle.

Grealish will not have that kind of space 99% of his City time, he did at Villa as not one fucking team opted to defend deep against a shit Villa.

He looked decent when he came on but it needs to be put in context. He was up against tired legs and Madrid needed two goals so had to throw everyone forward which meant they were playing without a proper defensive structure. Once they managed to take it to extra time they regained their shape and he was back to being ineffective. I hope he comes good next season but I just don't see it happening, he's a level below the standard of player we need.

Part agree. I think if we keep playing him on the wing then he isn't good enough for us.

Play him as a number 8 (Gundo replacement?) and that would get more out of him. I always thought the plan would be to move him to play at 8, but I expected we'd have seen that occasionally by now tbh. Makes me doubt it will be happening.

Fine margins. Thought he did fairly well, and a goal last night would have been exactly what he needed. Shame, but needs to do his bit in winning the title now (ie no going out on the piss for the next couple of weeks Mr Grealish)

Fans mock Jack Grealish and remind him that 'nothing ever dies on the internet' after the Manchester City star sneakily deleted an embarrassing 'Hala Madrid' tweet from 2014 just hours after their Champions League collapse

Just fucking ridiculous! Any chance we would call for his head the same way we are calling for Micah's head?
