10 | Jack Grealish - 2021/22 Performances

Thought he was the weak link today. He wasn't shit by any means but everybody else was at least an 8/10 and he wasnt at that level. The only time Chelsea ever got out of our press was down their right through the space Grealish occupies, rarely saw him busting a gut to close down the space, allowed azpilicueta to put in crosses unchallenged or forced cancelo to engage which left laporte exposed. He needs to work on that big time.

Going forward he was tidy and looked to be a threat but his final ball once again wasn't there. Should have had 2 easy assists today and a goal from the 1v1. Was unlucky with the effort mendy saved

Same as what's been said before really, everything but his work rate and his output is there.

I said that at half time but he was still better than KDB who was poor today.

Jack will definitely improve and in overall - no question can be asked about this transfer, because we definitely needed to strengthen this area due to reason that Gundogan will be 32 soon and Kev also is 30, which leaves us only with the Bernardo and Foden - who was playing as a winger for whole season and today played as a false9, so you need attacking midfielders and Jack was (and is) one of the best in the league.

So this is transfer for future and therefore you shouldn't judge it in 2 or 3 or even 12 months.

And still we see glimpses of his brilliance - like that goal against Leipzig or even today - he was very unlucky not to score there, considering how Jesus scored :D

It doesn't matter when they judge it. He is fantastic.

I like him a lot. He dare to take risks and go for it. Also he likes to play for us.
First time in years i feel we have a complete team.

Was good again today. His ability on the ball is top and very important in games like today, pretty confident no matter where he picks up the ball that he won't lose it or have a bad touch.

Will be very disappointed in himself to not score today, but the goals will come.

Second half was good, first half was poor and needs to get far more involved.

Seems to be blowing hard a lot during games, not up to fitness yet or are our fitness levels a lot higher than he is used to?

Decent start but hopefully a lot more to come.

He is starting to own that left side. The runs into the box, shots, passing has improved our left hand side immensely. Foden was just as good when he played left. Anyone else and it’s a big drop in quality and form. He has hit the ground running. Brilliant signing.

I think Foden is the best left sided attacker at the club still to be honest. Foden was in a way sacrificed yesterday for the team in a great team performance but that false 9 will never get the best out of Phil. It’s good to have somebody else who can play on the left well though.
