Similar to Sterling, I don't think that's really true.

Some people have set out their stalls early and will do whatever they can to put a downer on everything he does. Not saying that's the case with everyone but there are a load of people following this club who are desperate for something to complain about and would rather be right than have a player succeed with us.

You watch. Even if he becomes what most of us want, the knives will be out again as soon as possible.
The only ones who have set their stalls out early are the ones who claim he has been good or super or outstanding when he he has largely been shite ....
The delusion of certain posters is hilarious...
Everyone hopes he turns a corner. But to claim he is already outstanding is verging on the bizarre.

Not really sure if you're just imagining an opposite point of view for the sake of a stronger argument but I've not once described him or any of his performances as outstanding.

I don't know, maybe you were meant to reply to someone else.

That was my feelings also, go for the easier freekick option. Free kicks are not really City's bag, we like to keep the ball moving to pull players out of shape and position.
The 2nd half yesterday showed me the player I wanted to see. Staying up, jinxing, foxy and dribbling more.
Take a few more risks, Jack. It will do you good.
Really hope to see more of this Grealish.
Agreed second half I thought Jack was excellent and he was a constant threat to the Leeds defence. Also liked how he just laughed at the bellends goading him.

The fact you call Ferran Torres a failure in the transfer market really does undermine any point you think you’re making.
Why? He came here, was anonymous in half the games he played for us, then fucked off.

I also never said he was a failure in the transfer market. You’ve just made that bit up. I said he was a failed transfer in answer to his question “Who was the last failed transfer?”

anonymous for large parts of the game again....

At present he is the least effective attacking threat we have ...yes he retains the ball but thats not too hard when giving 5 yd passes sideways and backwards....He lacks any sort on intensity/urgency in his game as well....rarely looks like he is going to get into a scoring position either......

Only getting in the team due to rotation and for the CL games Id keep him well away from it....

Doesnt get in our best starting 11 - not even close....

If we had to bring someone on to change the game Id rather we tried Cole Palmer at present

Dreadful first half, less shit second half but still largely anonymous for most of the game and has little to no impact. Passenger.

All the changes coming in yesterday had a chance to put their name in the hat for some gametime in these last crucial games and show Pep they can be relied upon, Ake was fantastic, gundo, decent, sterling fantastic, Grealish sub-par. I think that's his last chance to impress this season, I don't expect to see him start again until next season.

Biggest take from that game though is Foden is chosen to start in the middle, I think that's a very clear sign of what's in peps mind for the future. foden is the next 8 not Grealish as so many on here keep claiming based on nothing whatsoever. Doesn't have anywhere near the required work rate or intensity in his game to play as an 8 for Pep.

Gundo was decent yesterday? LOL

It really tells us what is bias.
