Pep has to back him. If he dropped him it would look like he was being thrown under a bus. I don't think Grealish is playing terribly, I just think he is currently a step down from other players we have and expect a bit more from his performances. If he was picking people just on form he wouldn't be starting but the man management & motivational side is key at the moment which is why he had to pick him.

Hopefully he plays a blinder today.

A really good performance from Grealish. Took risks, broke the lines and scored. Pleased for him.

That early goal gave Grealish a much needed confidence boost he needed. He had a good game and I'm pleased for him. More of the same after international break, hopefully.
