Nah, not having this. I've been laughed out of this thread several times by people who honestly seemed to want Grealish to fail. They always had a dig at him every chance they got, were always in this thread (sometimes DURING games) saying he was a waste of money, a waste of space, etc. Those people are, predictably, nowhere to be seen these days. Meanwhile Jack's banging them in and winning big games for us, like some of us always said he would. So, forgive us "Grealish fanboys" (as we're affectionately called) for having a little gloat considering there's thousands and thousands of pages of total shite posted on this forum that we've had to put up with for 18 months.

Not a lot, I would imagine.

Grealish has been subject to a concerted campaign of hate and bitterness since he’s joined - ultimately driven by jealousy- and so it’s even sweeter to see him showing everyone what a good player he is now.

That orange person has taken Martin Samuels vacancy at the Daily Wootton Brexit. They deserve each other.

Pep sticks by him and keeps giving him game time. Performances keep improving. Confidence keeps notching up. Goals and assists start to follow.

Bloody lovely to see! Jack’s performances weren’t top 5, in the team, any time he played pre-world cup. When half the team came back from Qatar playing like Tal Ben Haim he was still turning in the same standard, which suddenly looked half decent. As Kev and a few others seem to have woken up Jack has improved stroke for stroke with them, and is now looking pretty integral.

Time will tell whether the real Phil decides to show up again, but until he does Jack is doing just fine TYVM.

Phil was the best player in our team consistently, even with KDB 18 months ago. Its dropped off since then. I think we all want Phil to get back to where he was - but you couldn't justify swapping him for grealish right now.

But that’s exactly why gloating on here is worthless. If you’re saying that you’ve had to defend him for 18 months against fans saying he isn’t doing enough in the big games, does 6 weeks of him impacting these games make you “correct”? Were they therefore not correct for 18 months?

I don’t believe any City fan wants Jack, or any other player to fail. They only want the best for each player and overall the club.

This forum should be a safe space for City fans to air their opinions with other City fans. We put up with enough shit from the media and fans of other clubs without turning on each other. Let’s do our gloating towards them cunts instead.

I don't think they wanted him to fail. I think they were gloating when he supposedly had a bad game. Quiet now though, unsurprisingly.
