Thought he was good today in the moments he could get into the game

They had clearly tried to stop our play down the left. As soon as the ball went near that side of the pitch, their right back was getting tight to him, so it wasn’t easy getting the ball to him as often as usual. But you could see they made a conscious effort to mark him out of the game, which is testament to how good he has been recently and them knowing a lot of our play has been going through him.

Didn’t really help them in the end because it created space for others.

With a pacy winger on his left, I think he could go up a level as the left sided midfielder.

I think far and away the biggest area of improvement has been his work rate. Countless times yesterday he was backtracking.

Seems beloved in the dressing room on another note. Happy he's found form albeit still not scoring.

100% he feels like he belongs,he looks incredibly popular, and he looks very at home.Being happy in the workplace is massive.

I see him coming to the middle of the pitch often these days. most of his best passes come from the middle. his work rate is better than all our midfielders except bernardo. can easily see Jack playing as a 8. it will be a shame if pep refuses to try him as a 8.

That has to be his position next season, hugely improved since the turn of the year but still never a wide player in a million years.

Pep ain’t stupid. Jack is proving now to be one hell of a purchase. Settling in nicely and now taking on extra responsibility to determine the outcome of the game. He was in awe when he arrived, maybe felt like he did not belong.

His hold up play, drive and ability to control a game is fantastic. Assists improving, goals would be a bonus. Shouldn’t be a choice between Jack & Phil. Both need to start as many games as possible.

City always plan 3/5 year cycle. Gives the new players a chance to find their way while also being respectful to the senior players who maybe on the way out over that same period of time.

Very few players are worth 100m. He is still not one of them but if we had paid 60m people would now be saying his value has gone up.

Fight and ability to wind people up is a bonus.
