Great game to pull out his best performance by far in a blue shirt. With foden out for a few weeks and limited options in forward positions that has to now be replicated next week, then bayern then arsenal and so on by both him and mahrez.

Arguably our best player this season but worth bearing in mind that TAA is an absolutely horrific defender.

I wasn't suggesting it was a hindrance. I just feel Jack has further to go yet. Which is a positive.
I think that he needs some kind of confidence. Some good finishers also have bad miss and they just keep trying and don't care. Grealish whenever he misses a chance he apologies and looks lost like my son breaks the glass...

Don't be afraid Jack. He needs to know we are all supporting him.

Today he played like he was the main man. He actually made fewer dribbles than Mahrez, touched the ball less than KDB, Gundo and Mahrez, made few passes than them, but the game revolved around Grealish, on both sides of the ball. He was what the Spanish would call the protagonist of the game. That's what was different today vs. his other very good games for us.

Also I know people like to act as if the commercial side of the game is a side show, but it really can't be understated how big an impact Grealish and Haaland could have on that side of things for the club.

He's already getting £50m from Puma and £10m from Gucci. If he plays like this more often or in the CL then he's not just going to win loads, he's going to find himself a genuinely global superstar, a household name worldwide alongside Haaland.

He's found his confidence and believes he belongs here now. Happy for him not only as a player but as a person. I always thought he was kind of a twat at Villa but I was wrong, he comes off as a genuinely good guy
