He's made it through the initial stage where he questions his ability to play for this team, tries to understand what the manager wants and changes his game. It's now natural, and he's clearly benefitting from a run in the team and that confidence. Playing with a left footed left back who allows him to do his attacking work helps too, Cancelo often tried to steal the limelight, using Jack for his own benefit rather than supporting him and changing his game for Jack to flourish.
He's a great character and deserves the plaudits. Great to see him get his goal too, he needs to keep making those runs into the box. He'll get dozens of goals if he does. He almost didn't make the run until he realised how much space he had thanks to Trotting Alexander.
