Maybe not, but when people are hammering him for enjoying himself whilst on holiday I think credit is fair when he’s getting his head down training whilst still on holiday.

They are all given off time training schedules.
The media need to be ignored, they are out to get him.
What I am saying is that he is doing what is expected by the club fitness wise, and hopefully the rest of the squad are doing the same.
I wasn't criticising him in any way.

Just reading The Athletic's article on Phillips and it had this snippet about Grealish's move.
Admittedly nothing new in there but it's maddening how they were willing to reject a bid that met a release clause in the player's contract knowing he probably wouldn't force the issue and knowing we didn't actually know it was a release clause because they hadn't told us.

It's about professionalism.
We constantly have people questioning his professionalism, but the simple fact is you don't get in that kind of shape without an incredible amount of discipline and hard work. It's also the biggest proof possible that he's not going out boozing 3 times a week and turning up to training most days hungover or still drunk as some people would like to believe.

As i said. That is how they should all be.
No trophies for being an elite footballer in top notch condition.
They get fined for coming back overweight.
That is why they have individual conditioning projects for off-season.
The odd binge is great in the off season
I certainly haven't questioned his conditioning.

Looking "ripped" is not necessarily a sign of professionalism or a healthy lifestyle, trust me. I know bodybuilders and fitness experts who get completely wasted, totally coked out and high when they are on a night out.
Grealish really underwhelmed last season. That same old routine of receiving the ball, squaring up to a defender, then turning and passing back to Cancelo really grew tiring after a few months. Needs to improve massively.
