He wasn’t particularly great. I thought the whole team was quite poor for long stretches today, including Jack. We were arguably as bad as we were at Villa but our opposition were very poor and we turned it on three times with fantastic play. Outside that Rodri was the only player who at some point didn’t either smash the ball out of play, to the opposition or lose it needlessly.

Grealish was better today but (I’ll never not have a but with anyone) there’s a way to go yet.
He had a good game and played his part in a 3-0 away win where in general we wasn’t firing on all cylinders.
It doesn’t have to be any deeper than that for me.
Let’s hope his next outing ends in a similar vein.

Working, so missed the game, but I'm glad he got on the score sheet today. Hopefully he can carry on getting better and this will be his turning point.

I'm desperately hoping he proves me wrong.

I hope the doubters enjoyed his goal
Well I did. He was much better today. Seemed to come inside more instead of running into blind alleys. I enjoyed his interview afterwards when he was refreshingly honest. He knows he can do much better and I really hope he does. I think it will also help him get fitter by playing for England in this break. I don't know anyone who has doubted his technical ability. It's what happens in his head that is more important. We could also do with getting Mahrez back on track. He is another great player who has been in a sticky patch.

Thought he played fairly well; perhaps even our best player.

Still think he has a lot more to contribute but this has to be a big injection of confidence.

Much better today. Finally got himself into a goalscoring position and it paid off. Wouldn't go overboard with the praise, he was good but not amazing, that's the minimum level you expect every week from him and all our players. I think the whole team was quite poor for 60+ minutes of that match in truth but he was probably top 3 players on the pitch today with Rodri and Akanji and that's not been said very often. Hopefully does well for England and we see a much more confident player when they're all back.

I hope the doubters enjoyed his goal
Why wouldn't they enjoy it? This ridiculous idea that any criticism directed towards any City player, however justified suggests they've got some kind of personal vendetta against a city player that's so strong they'd not enjoy city scoring in the 1st minute is fucking mental.

Amazing how bundling in a scruffy goal can alter people’s perceptions of a player. He played today pretty much like he’s done all season - absolutely fine.
