Judge him on his own performance, big improvement, he was great today
 
He's like the antithesis of Mahrez, I always enjoy watching him play, he usually plays well and seems to do a lot right, but just doesn't get the goals/assists. Whereas not uncommonly Mahrez will throw a stinker but pop up with a goal.

Got a few "pre-assists" today like Silva used to for us. Think he's had a good season so far.
 
Jack was great.. having Pep second season… learnt the system last season.. sprinkling his personality and individual qualities on what he has now learnt.

Remind me of Iniesta. He also had very few goal contribution compared to his teammates in his prime but somehow pulled out some important goals when it matters.
 
Part of the first choice front three now - another good performance today. It's all about balance and a mix of pace and control. Jack found space well and has started running at defenders - they couldn't handle it.
 
Brilliant 1st half but dropped off a bit in the 2nd. He deserved a goal today
 
If only he had more confidence in the final third..

I hope he will get it somehow..

Then we will see the real Super Jack <3
 
Obviously a shame he didn't contribute with an actual goal or assist but hugely influential today and a great game all round. Front three picks itself at this point.

I mentioned this way way earlier this seaosn but this is what he will bring.

It's perhaps not as sexy as a stat, but is needed in the team.
 
Not bad today.

I don’t mind him playing with this confidence. Doesn’t matter if Jack Grealish loses the ball one or two times in a game if it’s in an advanced area and if it was a good idea.

Sometimes u need direct dribblers, and Grealish has been looking like a wimp lately afraid to make a mistake.

Go on lad grow a pair and u can be a useful squad player and starter too at Manchester City.
 
Arguably his best 20 minutes in a blue shirt, was probably the best of our front 3 in the very early stages until Phil and Haaland stepped up and took over. Faded after that when he should have been continually going at Dalot who was shitting his pants to get him sent off but the job was done by then. can be happy with his contribution today. Keep it up.

Jack playing as he did today does give us the rally car again, when previously it was more of a saloon trying to run the circuit.

Promising signs.
