He is Peps chess player. He can hold on to the ball out on the wing which allows our players to move into positions. He always finds the right pass and never gives it away. He wins free kicks in dangerous positions. Top player.

Jack is a big-game player, never scared or bullied by strong defenders. Let's hope Haaland develops this trait as well.

Last seasons Jack is back, we are a better team with him. With Gundo and Mahrez leaving, we were already two players short who could help control a game. With Jack being out of form it’s basically been three players.

Was interesting that our third goal came when Carvajal had taken leave of his senses and gone running up the park. He never quite got settled in his position again before Grealish set up Gvardiol. There’s a bit of me thinks Doku could end Carvajal’s career in the last twenty minutes if given the chance,

Proper game changer in this team. They obviously relax so much more when he’s in it and it shows.

I’ve noticed teams really press our wingers whenever the ball comes to feet - probably at our most vulnerable if it’s lost there - and he just nullifies that possibility because of how good he is.

One thing he needs to do is get his shot away quicker, though. He could’ve had 2 last night. He seems to steady himself with an extra step instead of control then hit like a Mahrez, Kev, Foden etc. do.

Starting to play much better but still needs to learn to get his shots away quicker, or at least disguise them a little.

He sets the tempo for the side, and we’ve missed that this season. He’s getting back to last seasons form now, just at the right time. We look a much better side when Jack plays. He just controls the pace of the game.
