I thought that at the time but Doku made a big difference when he came on.

Played well tonight. Strange to see him subbed instead of Bernie - Doku is more effective on the right IMO and Grealish was playing Carvajal well.

Some in the match thread said he was limping, although I didn't see it. If true, and combined with being on a yellow card, the substitution made sense. Having only recently come back from injury, he probably didn't have 120 mins in him, especially if he'd taken a knock.

I thought he did well today, especially first half. I love it when he drives into the box and I'd like to see it more often - but his decision-making is usually spot on so what do I know.

Doku didn’t do anything different to Grealish to affect the game. The Kev goal was a deflection of a defender.

If Pep wanted to play Doku he should have gone onto the right in place of Bernardo.

He's still not fully fit and had started to tire. Understandable that he had to come off.

This season biggest mistake:

Pep did not try enough put Grealish and Doku into same 11.

If we had a tactic to get Grealish + Doku playing double left winger on left side we would have a better chance tonight.
