10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

He was bought for ball retention and ball circulation to prevent counterattacks. That's why Pep got rid of Sterling and Sane because they kept losing the ball way too much because they're both explosive wingers who take risks. That's why he always plays Grealish on the left and Bernardo on the right in big games to have full control of ball possession.

He's played a lot of games he'll continue to play a lot of games. Why ? because of fanboys, no because Pep wants to pick him. Still the gang will all be in here seeing what the bald fraud can't see, that Grealish is unbeleivably and so obviously shit. It's just stupid, and a lack of awareness.
If that’s your lofty view of the thread, please remember you’re not obliged to be here.

And if you think “Pep knows better” is any more insightful than most of the other stuff, you won’t be missed.

Best football we played last season, for me, was the opening 20 minutes away at FC Copenhagen. It was as close as we had come to the set up that destroyed Real Madrid, moving the ball and opponent all over the shop. Alas, a recurring injury to Grealish saw it come abruptly to an end. Really hope he can go on a prolonged run of games and then we can get back to that system.

What, you want to be left to whine and moan about a player in peace. Sorry if I think people are chatting shite I'll be here to tell them. Obviously Pep knows better, to think otherwise shows the lack of self awareness I alluded to.

Pep got rid Of Sane because he was homesick and got tapped up by Bayern with a lucrative offer. Sterling was allowed to leave because he was throwing hissy fits and sulking because of being benched and not starting as much as he wanted.

Do you seriously think we signed Grealish for those reasons? If so you're clueless.

We signed him because Pep thought he could make him into a special player and a big star.

Sadly it's not worked.
