A near-perfect performance from him today. Kept it, won free kicks, set up colleagues for shooting opportunities. I've now accepted he doesn't choose to shoot himself regardless of the opportunity to do so, but we needed him today to go through.

He did well when he came on today but I wish he would try and shoot when he has the chance. There were a couple of occasions today where he passed on the opportunity even though there was a gaping hole opening up for him.
Would like to see him start against Leicester.

Still don't understand why he makes space and it looks a clear shot into the far side but passing it across the line.
We all could see it, with a bit of good fortune he could have at least a goal.

Perhaps, but equally his job was to keep the ball. We were winning and he's shit at shooting, so there's no point going for it unless it's a wide open goal.

I still believe he has a role to play in this team. He's not the solution to every problem we ever face, but very few players are. We always look more composed, and like the whole team has a little more time and space, when he's on the pitch.

Given his appearances have been largely limited to the cup this season, and how well he's actually done in those limited and irregular minutes, I expect it was quite the kick in the teeth to not start today.

He could have kicked up a fuss, or come on determined to be the hero to make a point, having wild shots in the hope one went in. I think it's to his credit that he played the game the team needed him to, rather than trying to make it the Jack Grealish show at the expense of taking stupid risks.

He's clearly out of favour. We don't know the full reasons for that or everything that's gone on behind the scenes but regardless, once you're in Pep's bad books it's very difficult to get out of them.

It's a shame, because I think selling him will weaken us and strengthen wherever he moves to.

Look at how beautifully Grealish controlled the ball at 93:01 of the match. Jack has amazing technique, and today he created some great chances. I still hope there’s a light at the end of the tunnel with Jack playing well for City.

His cameo today is why he divides opinion , he allows us to control games but doesn’t add stats in terms of goals and asists

When Haaland is scoring 52 goals in a season , this doesn’t really matter , when he’s not then people put the spotlight on the wingers to contribute

I’m Foden’s biggest fan but Jack offered twice as much when he came on
