maybe Spurs can spend some of their CL money on him. I guess he could be useful there with Son deteriorated, Maddison injury prone and Richarlison also quite mediocre for them.

we have to compensate though for his salary. 200k max he can get but imo would be foolish for his next club to do a 5 year club on 200k as what if he spends half his time at the pub for that salary. the older he gets the less professional he will be.
if he gets like 200k offered and is on 300k here, his agent will ask us to compensate him for that two years left o his contract of salary difference. that will be another 10m paid to him maybe bit more with loyalty bonuses and whatever other crap we gift players.

we simply cannot have him doing so much bench time and be only behind Haaland on the salary list next season. likes of Gvardiol played his ass off this season for probably half the salary. Gvardiol around 4500 mins played which is sick and some more for Croatia, Grealish played around 1500 mins and nothing for England.
Would be a typical Spurs signing.
Think City would do well to get more than £35 million for him though.
Can imagine him & Maddison being a proper pair of pisspots in the "smoke"...

yep and Postecoglou could work with him, "hi mate" style could work with Grealish.:) he spent most of his career under Bruce, Tim Sherwood, Dean Smith etc.

also Spurs spent 60m on Richarlison and Solanke, so they can put down big money, and Grealish brings experience and CL experience too which is something their squad needs.

either them or Newcastle imo could be the two PL options unless Villa thinking about him still. not sure he is a good fit for Emery, would be better off under Postecoglou or Howe.

Would rather sell him to Spurs than Newcastle who could challenge us for the league or top 4 next season. A different manager could probably get more out of him and I'd rather see him play for Ange than Howe and see Grealish in that midfield with Bruno G, Tonali and Joelinton.

Still think there's a good player there and he could do well with a left back who overlaps and drags one of the extra wide defenders away.

I think this is spot on. You'll have dumb fuck posters like Meesh come in here screaming that it's his "off the field" that gets him benched but there is literally nothing to suggest that, especially recently as in 2025. Him on a bender after the treble is not it either, half the team did the same. He played in the semi against Madrid, and played well, then is benched again, with AFAIK no articles about him "partying" in that time. Its bullshit.

I'd just like to know the truth but we'll never get it unless Pep or Jack speaks about it later in time.

Such a weird situation with Jack. Fans love him & he always plays well. Bizarre pep doesn’t play him & it can only be related to non football matters

Time for Jack to reset his career and put it back on track. If that means taking a serious pay cut, so be it. He’s in a vicious circle: pigeonholed role, safety first crab ball, shit stats, injuries, sporadic starts and zero momentum. Being banished from the squad, and with shiny newcomers still to arrive, means he’s now reached the point of no return. I like the guy lots but the ball’s in his court: seize the initiative or be remembered as a disappointing contract milker.

We must've already paid him at least 40 million quid. Set for life surely. He could easily take a pay cut.

If he has any ambition left in him he will have to take a pay cut.
he will as long as we pay the difference on the rest of his City deal.
eg he is on 300k a week here for 2 more seasons.
he will go to Newcastle on 190k a week lets say 4 years deal but puts in the request that City pay him the 110k difference on the first two year so something like 12m. so if we get a 35m fee, we also hand over 12m to Grealish from it.

Fucking hell. Great value for money.
