Great little cameo. In games like that when the win has been secured, he'll enjoy himself and look unbelievable. When the opponents are dug in and we need some magic to break through, that is where he'll be judged. I suspect he'll be used sparingly for at least yhe first half of the season and will have to feel his way into regular starts but he's a bloody exciting talent.

When is Pep going to brave enough to start Rayan again and show some patience with him in the team?
Reijndershas been poor for 7 games straight, why should he continue starting games? Cherki did more in 10 mins than Reijnders in 7 games.You don't get a starting spot because one player had a single poor game, and does Cherki even play on the wings like Savio or Doku?
He'll get minutes, anyway, it's up to him to make the most out of them, as he did today.

That pass to Haaland was absolutely wild. I just love watching him. He's a street footballer.
I've been watching him play for four seasons now, a few times at the Groupama stadium here in Lyon (Décines), and every time I'm captivated when he touches the ball; everything looks easy for him.
If he continues to work hard and improve, he'll make football history. Like Yamal, Pedri, Cherki should be a football sensation for the next 10 years. It's these kinds of players we pay a ticket to go to the stadium for.

Can see Foden and Cherki interchanging positions from the middle and the right.Cherki played right wing for Lyon.
Playing left back against us is going to be a challenge.

I thought Reijnders played great versus Brentford.Reijndershas been poor for 7 games straight, why should he continue starting games? Cherki did more in 10 mins than Reijnders in 7 games.
Also, isn't Cherki and Foden too attacking? It's asking a lot of Nico certainly.

Yes agreed, both are not great OOP, but A Rodri + Nico G pivot behind them and Khusanov at RB offsets it.I thought Reijnders played great versus Brentford.

He's going to be a star for us; like a Silva/Mahrez hybrid.
