I hope so,especially for the price we got him for an absolute steal..Nothing wrong with that, he's still embedding into the system and has just come back from injury.
He's going to be a star for us; like a Silva/Mahrez hybrid.

What an odd thread. Seems like a couple of people here have absolutely no idea he's been injured for over a month and not just being left out of the squad.
Anyway I'm sure he will feature plenty. He's still getting back to full fitness.

Heavens. Rayan has been injured for six weeks.Reijndershas been poor for 7 games straight, why should he continue starting games? Cherki did more in 10 mins than Reijnders in 7 games.

To get fit and up to speed after a thigh injury. You strike a ball, that can go again. It's a difficult injury. He also has to adapt.But he’s been training for 3 full weeks? How does it take?
I think Cherki is a very good technical player but he's coming into a new league. He isn't going to walk straight into the centre of the side and be the go to player as he probably was at Lyon.

Very young players are likely to need time to develop, just as Cherki might.Great little cameo yesterday. You can just see that he oozes class. Got a great to chance to nail down a regular starting place now, given the indifferent form of Savinho and Bobb on the right-wing. Hope he starts on Tuesday.

This is a very different situation - we have no shortage of players, AND we have been getting results. Anyway, Cherki is the player I am most excited about. I want him to play, but I want him to be a success for a long time with us. If that means easing him in, I am all for it.

We never really throw players straight into a starting lineup though, unless there's absolutely no other option. We saw how badly that went last yearHe trained through that though? Thought he would have started as others were playing?
I'm sure Cherki would've had more minutes & be in a position to start if we'd not had a break after Brentford
