The game looked a bit too much for him, which is understandable.
Thoughtful post mate and very true. He’ll sleep tonight. The premier League is played at a bonkers pace. Like Nico G and Rodders, it’ll take a little time to adjust - he’s also just got back from injury. We may need to be patient.
It’s fine if Bernardo isn’t doing it as well.Sometimes he drops centrally too early and it becomes too crowed when he plays at a starting point on the wing, but otherwise hes been mint, and will prob play centrally in the long run.
Think thats the idea, over run through the middle to overcome the press, same as against BornemouthSometimes he drops centrally too early and it becomes too crowed when he plays at a starting point on the wing, but otherwise hes been mint, and will prob play centrally in the long run.
We were better as a team with him than when Savinho came on. We lost some control.Think thats the idea, over run through the middle to overcome the press, same as against Bornemouth
100% correct - those saying today was not his day are in a way right but also they don't understand the balance he gave the side. No coincidence today's lineup produced one of the best performances of the season - there will be plenty of days like against Bournemouth where his maverick side makes the difference. While i understand why he was hooked. I like the mental state of a player who says, It doesn't matter what the conditions are, I will not be rushed. I'll play at my pace...
It might not have worked out in the end but it shows his mental fortitude.
