I haven't read the thread but if anybody thinks Sergio will ever play for City in any kind of meaningful way they are going to be disappointed. I'd love him to get a scoring cameo in an already-won cup final or league decider or something but there won't be any more than that. Wednesday told the world where we are at: he wasn't picked despite being fully fit and needing game time, and when he came on he was a million miles off the pace.

What a hero but it's over now.

I can absolutely see a performance at some point that gets us a trophy. It’s written in the stars I tell you ....

Comments are understandable but I'd at least like to wait things out before showcasing clairvoyance over Aguero.

We've gone from having a top quality strike pairing to carry us forward to having two effective long term duds in the space of a week. Throw Sterling in to for good measure as he's gone from good to bad just as quickly.

We're going to need an all time big transfer window at this rate..

we could still see a great run and finish to the season with aguero playing a major part
9 league games to play plus a possible 10 games in cup competitions and a league cup final

now if we have a hungry aguero and ready to fire we could see him playing most of them 19 games because he could win cups games on his own and score that winning goal. i remember carlos tevez doing the same sort of thing when he had that blow out with mancini but come back and played a run off games at the end of the season. also got a hatful vs norwich away on his come back

look if pep is not happy with aguero for whatever reason ? pep will be daft to not play a fit aguero for a possible 19 games. aguero could score 20 goals if he is 100% fit and hungry and a point to prove. also if aguero plays 19 games pep city will be in 3 cups finals and title winners so like i said pep would be daft not to play him

a possible 19 games what you think aguero could bag if he plays
i would go for 15 goals starting tomorrow

From the cameos of late, he doesn't look fully fit.

true but it would not take long to find his feet and score goals again. had a couple of chances in the last game and looked ok on running off the shoulder of the southampton defender ? i hope he gets a game tomorrow or 30 minutes in the 2nd half because goals will happen

It's all a bit weird with him atm, not sure what is happening with him.
