unfortunately it does look as if Kuns time with us is coming to an end ,but we cant let sentiment get in the way of footballing decisions. We need to find a striker to replace him simple as that, and one of the possible generational strike talents could be available and we need to secure him, to build on what Kun has helped us to achieve over the years.
just feels horrible for such a legend to leave on a wimper , i hope he forces his way back in to the team and scores a few goals,if he does leave i want it to be on a high .

I think we are making the same mistake that Barcelona did with Suarez. It s pretty hard to find a real goalscorer nowadays, not mentioning that is Aguero we are talking about, possibly the best player that ever played or will play for us. People talking like he is 37 yo, he is just 32, he still has 2-3 good seasons ahead of him. I would give him a 2 years long extension without a blink. Not because of what he did but because of what he can do.
For me this is the key. Whatever we do should be based on "What he can do" and not what he has done.

We owe all City greats a lot. Appreciation, adulation, a Statue, a Cake, a job in the front office if they are thinking of that... But the one thing we DON'T nor should owe our greats is making the team weaker just to appease and keep them. That we don't owe them.

Thus, the decision must be made on whether they make us better than others who might come here will.

The thing you're forgetting is that we're clearly signing a striker this summer, and that person whether it's Haaland or someone else is going to play most of the games next season. Sergio has never been happy being a bench player, and we know it because he pops up in the media telling us so every single time. He should go somewhere where he can play a lot of games, score a lot of goals, and be happy. We had a great run but it's best for both sides to move on.

He is 32, but he's been playing top-level football since he was 15, and he's had a ton of injuries. He may have 2-3 good seasons ahead of him, but he also very well may not, at least at the level we require

Still have a feeling he still have a big part to play this season

Dreamt of another Aguero moment in the CL final last night ;)
I would love Serg to make a contribution to the rest of the season.
Personally I don't think it will happen but I would love to be wrong.
Who knows- Vinny had a great swan song at the end of the 18/19 season when many had written him off.
I recently watched a saved recording of THAT game vs QPR when we won the title in '12/13, particularly the players celebrating at the end, and realised that Serg is the only player at the club remaining from that side.
LEGEND.
