We never seem to need a player to “grab the game by the scruff of the neck” anymore we dominate games that much but in years gone by when it was needed tevez was that man!! an unbelievable player for us

That's simply because he was that much better than those around him, certainly for his first season. My abiding memory of Tevez is him running his bollocks off for 35-40 minutes then spending the last 5 minutes of the first half basically bent double trying to get some breath back ...
... Then coming out in the second half and doing it all over again!
Not sure I've ever seen a footballer as visibly knackered as he was at the end of some games.

Pissed it down all night but a great gigSame day Doves played for free outside the Etihad.
Went down to Shambles Square for a cold beverage and got off the bus opposite the Tevez poster.
