Miles better today. Pep knows best.
If every game he plays is like Bournemouth and Luton he will probably be in competition with Pele and Maradona for GOAT. Its just unrealistic expectations at any level. He has had great games recently against Newcastle, Burnley, Everton and Aston Villa where it doesn't show on the statsheet, but as long as he keeps creating chances the impact on the game is there. That's 2 great games he's had now in a blue shirt, Bournemouth and Luton like but let's see, hopefully more to come.
West Ham away he wasn’t too shabby neither, got us back into that game with a superb finish. That's 2 great games he's had now in a blue shirt, Bournemouth and Luton like but let's see, hopefully more to come.
He was excellent in the early season against Brighton, Forrest, Liverpool, Leipzig... All in all I think he had much more good games than bad ones, the team as a whole seems like it got over the midseason slump and Doku seems more confident as well. His crosses seem more accurate and his shooting is getting better.West Ham away he wasn’t too shabby neither, got us back into that game with a superb finish.
He’s been mixing it up for months already. He stopped simply running at the full back for 90 minute ages agoHis decision making was much improved on Saturday. His cut backs rather than just lumping it in the box, knowing when to recycle or take someone on, learning how to smell spaces on the pitch. Fair play to the lad, looks like he has got his head down and worked hard and that the squad has trust and support. If he keeps developing he could be some player.
