How we forget the stick Rodri and Gundo used to get on here look how thats turned out.I admit at the mo he is bit i show speed.Lets see next year before any rash judgements.
Can only assume he means greediest…I suppose some people have a low threshold on what GOAT means…
Doku is doing just fine as it stands, certainly better than I expected at this point but we don’t need to go overboard. That works both ways of course, negative or positive.
Or don't know what it stands forI suppose some people have a low threshold on what GOAT means…
It does, which is why that poster might be getting a bit giddy.I always thought the O.A.T in G.O.A.T meant, "Of all time".
It does. I guess it could be applied to individual games, but seems unnecessary.I always thought the O.A.T in G.O.A.T meant, "Of all time".
When I mentioned that he had a stormer against Bournemouth, I wasn’t asking you to compare his performance with that of Foden. What I was saying was, that performance against Bournemouth was as good as it gets - GOAT level. And by that I mean it was 10/10 performance. I’m clearly not saying he is 10/10 right now. Hell sometimes he is 3/10. For the records I’m saying that match against Bournemouth, he assisted, scored, terrorized defenders - all done at a very high levelI’m not sure if you’re related to him or just a teenager with zero life experience, and thus context, but the only way the word “GOAT” could be used for Doku’s season so far would be sarcastically or in a derogatory manner.
So far, your treasure trove of data to back up your claim is that you think he played better than Foden in the first half of a game against Bournemouth. Hmmmm…OK, let’s go with that then, shall we?!
What colour are the rainbows in your world?
I’m not sure where you get the idea that Doku isn’t popular. A handful of posters on here who love to whinge doesn’t really tell the story. When I mentioned that he had a stormer against Bournemouth, I wasn’t asking you to compare his performance with that of Foden. single-handedly. Yes I admit that I went over the top in my assessment of his performances against westham and Brighton but those were also very very good showings.
I was asking us to compare both players in the first half of the Everton game and positing that Doku is getting shit because he’s not very popular. I’ll say it again, if you were quiet on the Foden thread and yet you came out with your swords in the Doku thread after the last game, you have to check it that your preference is not messing up your objectivity.
I’d say he’s not popular among quite a number even though he is popular among quite a number as well. If they are just a handful then it’s all well and good. Most people know that Foden has been our star man this season but my assessment was on the last match. It’s a shame I had to bring Foden into the conversation but I was just trying to show that Doku didn’t have as bad a game as those people are trying to make out.I’m not sure where you get the idea that Doku isn’t popular. Foden has been our player of the year arguably so probably not the best road to go down.
