11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

Yes, best player on the pitch in the home game vs Liverpool in 23/24 and that Bournemouth game where he contributed 4 assists and a goal (even Kev never had 5GA in a PL game).
He had plenty of other great games. Brighton, Luton, Everton, West Ham (both games), Chelsea, United in the FA cup, Madrid in the CL the first season, then Tottenham, Ipswich, Forrest, Brighton and Liverpool again last season... Its the Doku effect that when you watch him you expect him to be brilliant every time but he has limitations like any other player.

He's really frustrating at times but if it ever all clicks with him we're laughing, could be one of the best wingers in the World if he just starts putting everything together and getting that consistency going.

Even in his current erratic state he's a very useful member of the squad. There are few better in world football to bring off the bench to run at a tired full back when you need a goal than Doku, we don't get in the CL last season without his impact as a substitute during the business end of the season.

Am I the only one that didn't rate him? He had one brief moment of brilliance and a bit of luck, then in the second half every time he touched the ball he gave it away. He gave away the ball due to trying his flick on and turn at least 3 times the second half, and another 7+ needless turnovers. Savinho actually improved our ability to maintain possession after replacing him, which says a lot.
Probably.

Yeah, I kinda agree with you. The two assists were nice but he lost possession 17 times. All City players have the ball away a lot on Sunday but Doku was probably the worst. He also didn't support Nico O'Reilly enough. If he loses the ball 17 times against Arsenal, we are fucked.

Loving him in the middle. If we had any other quality available for the wings, I would like to see him in Reijnders position.

Getting his head up a lot more and making the right decisions there’s a world class player in there we just need to unlock it

Back to back games where he's been decisive, hope he makes it 3 sunday, love his new inside role.
