11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

No worries, I learned that in this forum youre not supposed to go deeper into any player related topic, it will disturb the blissful status quo harmony. Just say for the popular players that they are great, and for the unpopular ones that they are shit and move on
Don't lose heart. You'll explain football to us all eventually.

That's true with some posters but you will take universal heat when ya try to be some type of contrarian trying way too hard to find fault with a player. Doku has been a huge component of this side winning this term. I'll go to any nuanced level you want but you're not going to find anyone who really understands the game that thinks Doku has been poor.
This season he has improved so much that he has been one of City's better players. He has been excellent in the big games as well.

While I think Cherki is sensational, my feeling is that Doku will be the star player in the big games come April and May (Haaland aside). The bigger the game, the better he plays.

If Cherki can match that (he didn't vs Liverpool, Newcastle and Real), City will be unstoppable.

A threat but looked really unfit to me. Didnt look like he wanted to sprint or get into any tussles. Perhaps just rustiness and not having the chance to properly prepare to come on. Good to have him back anyway he's been sorely missed.

He was but once again the end product was lacking. I actually thought he should have scored that chance he had by being more composed and a lot of his crosses didn’t find anyone (similar to Savinho)

He was a threat though.
He did everything right. Sunderland just defended really well also how was he supposed to score with that many bodies within 5 meters? The crosses never find anybody because Haaland hides at the far post for whatever reasons
