Perhaps you're not being serious but how can it not apply to him?

I always feel the team is more balanced with him at LB.

I was talking more about a media and general perception of other fans.

I’m with you how cannot apply to him when the sample size is huge.

My point on Fernandes was more that I was not aware of this stat until it was pointed out to me.

I feel if it was other players we would, how often did we hear no one had dibbled past Van Dijk??

So calm and collected on the ball as ever and brilliant positioning to cut out passes/cover on the counter.

It’s about time the “good on the ball but not a defender” narrative was put to bed. He’s fucking GREAT on the ball and his defending is mostly top-notch. Makes tackles, steps in to intercept, wins a ton of headers and covers space brilliantly
