#11 | Oleksandr Zinchenko - 2020/21 Performances

I really like Zinchenko as often stated. Clever modern LB. Defending probably not his biggest talent, but name me one LB that can defend AND play the way Zinchenko does when having the ball.

However I want us to keep Mendy. Obviously Mendy needs to step up. But he is a very different LB that gives us different options. Like Walker gives us different options to Cancelo.

I thought he had a really strong showing today. Kept his side of the pitch honest.

Compared to a couple of seasons ago he is now a very composed defender , not many wingers get past him and offers plenty going forward and important for a Pep team doesnt give the ball away , one of our most improved players.

Excellent again - he showed some great pace too. Getting better with each passing week.

Whilst defending is always said not to be his strongest attribute.

Mikel did not set out for Arsenal to target him, but more the gap Cancelo can leave in the transition.

I think he’s better then people think and must be getting close to a 90% win rate.
