Watched the whole match. He did have a bad spell where Kante picked his pocket a coupla times and he clumsily gifted an assist to Griezmann, but other than that he was solid as heck. He and the left back did a good job stifling Coman and he was a big part of Ukraine managing 45% of the possession for most* of the match with his ability to transition the ball thru the French press.

Well that must have coincided with what i saw,think it was midway of second half.

Great to hear he otherwise did well,cheers.
 
Probably the most underrated player in England right now. Most non-City fans don't even think or talk about him, when in fact he'd waltz into all of their teams in one position or another.
 
Do we think he lost his place due to his comments on the quadruple a few weeks back? Looked like he was making a case to be the starting left back then all of a sudden hasn’t been seen since.
