what now no news on tevez and no news on eto'o part from dodgy swap deal with ibra

every time stretford get mentioned on here it gives ammunition to the "bitter blues" snipers. Some posts are verging on hysteria. 'everybody hates us" gets embarrassing after a bit .We will get all that and more but not yet ,in reality we are the new kids on the block , we still need to achieve something to back up potential, until then take a deep breath and deal with it.
 
I feel like there was a very weird vibe to the conference. Barry had a wobbly voice and looked nervous, MH didnt look that positive when talking about transfers, more burdened. He looked down a lot and seemed to be playing down any talk of city making big name signings. I get the impression its been a difficult few weeks for the club and they have failed to attract some players they hoped they could sign.

Since signing Barry I've got over the transfer hype and expect to make several respectable signings and maybe one big name. I think the majority of the press dont have a clue whats going on and this makes it difficult for us fans to differentiate the genuine info from the crap.
 
Grant, Toure, Lescott, Barry, Tevez and RCS. I think I'd be happy with that. Then keep on to dunne, Boj, Petrov and even Elano (if he's willing) and we have a lot of strength in depth and enough to challenge for top 4.

I only saw a few seconds of this press conference. It was always going to be overshadowed by the Tranny story. So manager and player probably had a few negative thoughts as they walked in the room, that their moment had been stolen. Barry also hasn't faced a press conference since attracting the outrageous criticism, so maybe this explains a few nerves. As for MH, well, I'm afraid he just doesnt come across that well on TV. Looking down, almost mumbling, he seems to 'dilute' his best points. Frankly he should have told the journo's to fook off and ask fergie about tranny. Far too polite for his own good.
